I'm a U.S. Air Force Airman and photojournalist. In 2013, I graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Science in graphic design and a minor in marketing. While in school, I interned with the Monumental Sports marketing and design team. After graduating, I embraced the advice of my role models to join the Air Force and serve my country. Three years into my enlistment, my superiors selected me to continue my education at the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. There, I advanced my photography, videography, graphic design and audio design skills. To this day, those experiences have given me the tools to effectively communicate stories and express ideas.

For The
Fun Of It

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse at Central Village is a safe haven for roughly 30 elementary and middle school children living on the south side of Syracuse, N.Y. It's a place where the children can play, learn and socialize outside of their school and home. The center is reliant on donors and volunteers from the community to give back to the next generation.

A Game of Failure

Coach Fred Terzini and the Liverpool Warriors start their 2018 season as defending New York state high school baseball champions. Winning is important, but the lessons the sport teaches the high school players is equally important.

Friendly Neighborhood Bubbleman

With bottles of soap, a suitcase of wands and wearing thick round glasses, Doug Rougeux shows up to work as “The Bubble Man.” Even though the Syracuse-based showman has spent 25 years dedicated to his career, he struggles to earn respect as a performance artist. Starting as a traveling circus clown, Rougeux, works hard to stay new and relevant making his soapy career worth it.
