U.S. Navy Photographer


Burke was born December 31, 1981 in Dothan, Alabama. He graduated from Enterprise High School and continued to pursue a BA at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He maintained employment at Source One LLC, a boutique litigation support company, throughout his brief college years which motivated him to sideline his education and focus on his occupation as an account representative. Burke continued his career in the litigation support industry when he transitioned to Dsicovery LLC, where he was a project coordinator. Burke enlisted in the United States Navy in November 2013. After completion of basic training in July 2014, he attended Defense Information School in Fort Meade, Maryland where he completed the Basic Mass Communication Specialist Course and Basic Combat Correspondence Course (BCC). Following BCC Burke furthered his Navy training at Naval Aircrew Candidate School (NACCS) in Pensacola, Florida. Upon completion NACCS, Burke reported to USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) where he served proudly and became the 2016 Navy Photographer of the Year.
